Privacy Settings
The Privacy tab lets you control how visible your profile is and what contact information you share with matches.
Visibility Level
Control how much of your profile other members can see.
Level 1: Maximum Privacy
- Minimal profile information visible
- Only basic details shown
- Best for highly private individuals
Level 2: Standard (Default)
- Balanced visibility
- Core profile information visible
- Appropriate for most members
Level 3: Open
- Most profile information visible
- Maximum exposure in the network
- Best for those seeking visibility

Contact Information Sharing
Choose what contact details are shared with your matches.
Available Options
Toggle each option on or off:
- Email - Share your email address with matches
- Phone - Share your phone number with matches
- Social Network - Share your social profile link
When Information Is Shared
Your selected contact information is only shared:
- After a successful match (mutual acceptance)
- With the specific matched member
- Not before meetings or with pending connections
Default Settings
New accounts start with:
- Email: Not shared
- Phone: Not shared
- Social Network: Shared
You can change these at any time.
Privacy and the Platform
What ELITORO Always Knows
- Your full profile information
- Your contact details
- Your activity on the platform
This is necessary for platform operation but is kept confidential.
What Other Members Never See (Without Match)
- Your full last name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Information you haven't chosen to share
What Matches See
After a successful match, your match can see:
- Your full name
- Contact info you've enabled sharing
- Your complete profile
Updating Privacy Settings
- Go to Profile > Privacy tab
- Adjust visibility level slider
- Toggle contact sharing options
- Save changes
Changes take effect immediately for new connections.
Best Practices
- Review periodically - Ensure settings match your current needs
- Share minimally at first - You can always share more later
- Be consistent - Make sure shared info is current
- Consider your goals - Balance privacy with networking needs
