How is ELITORO different from LinkedIn or other networks?​

Unlike public social networks, ELITORO is:

  • Built around structured introductions and video meetings
  • Privacy-first with confidential profiles
  • Curated to maintain network quality

Who can join ELITORO?​

ELITORO is designed for accomplished professionals with significant achievements in their fields. This includes executives, investors, entrepreneurs, elite athletes, artists, and other high-leverage individuals.

How do I join?​

You can join through:

  1. Referral - Get a referral code from an existing member (free)
  2. Direct application - Apply directly with a €10,000 contribution

Membership Questions​

What does the €10,000 membership contribution cover?​

The contribution grants lifetime membership and demonstrates serious commitment to the network. It's a one-time payment for direct applicants.

Can I get a refund if I'm not satisfied?​

Membership contributions are non-refundable. We recommend understanding the platform fully before applying.

What if I know an ELITORO member?​

Ask them for their referral code. Referral-based membership is free and helps you join with a connection to an existing member.

Profile Questions​

Can I change my profile after joining?​

Yes, you can edit most profile fields at any time through your Profile page.

What information is visible to other members?​

Before matching, members see:

  • Partial name (e.g., "John S.")
  • Photo, headline, and bio
  • Expertise, interests, and goals
  • Ratings and badges
  • Locations

After matching, you can see each other's full names and contact information (based on privacy settings).

How do I verify my identity (KYC)?​

  1. Log into your account
  2. Click "Verify Identity" in your profile header
  3. Follow the Veriff verification process
  4. Upload ID and complete selfie verification

Connection Questions​

How do connection suggestions work?​

ELITORO's team identifies potential connections based on mutual interests and compatibility. These appear in your Connection Suggestions section for you to accept or decline.

How do connection requests work?​

You can proactively request connections by describing what you're looking for. ELITORO finds up to 3 matching profiles for you to choose from. You have 5 request credits per month.

Why can I only send 5 requests per month?​

The limit ensures quality over quantity. Each request receives careful attention from the matching team and potential matches.

What if someone's contact price is too high?​

You can:

  • Set a maximum price on your requests
  • Look for members with lower prices
  • Wait for connection suggestions (free)

Meeting Questions​

How long are meetings?​

All ELITORO meetings are one hour via Zoom video call.

What if I need to cancel a meeting?​

You can cancel meetings, but frequent cancellations may affect your reputation. Try to reschedule rather than cancel outright.

What happens if someone doesn't show up?​

No-shows can be reported. The platform tracks attendance and takes action against repeat offenders.

Rating Questions​

Are ratings anonymous?​

Individual ratings are confidential. The other person only sees their overall average, not your specific rating.

What if I receive unfair ratings?​

Focus on being a good connection. Over time, unfair ratings are balanced by accurate ones. Contact support for serious concerns.

Do ratings affect my membership?​

Ratings affect your visibility, connection suggestions, and referral eligibility. Consistently low ratings may trigger a review.

Referral Questions​

How do I become a referrer?​

Meet these requirements:

  • Quality rating ≥ 4.0
  • Value rating ≥ 3.5
  • At least 2 completed meetings

How do referral commissions work?​

You earn a commission (3-5%) when your referrals receive paid connection requests. See Commissions for details.

Payment Questions​

How do I pay for connections?​

Payments are processed through Stripe using credit/debit cards or other supported methods when you select a profile with a contact price.

How do I receive money from connections?​

Earnings accumulate and are paid out according to the platform's payout schedule. Set up your payout details in account settings.

What browsers does ELITORO support?​

ELITORO works best on modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

What if I forgot my password?​

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and follow the reset instructions sent to your email.

Is my information safe?​

ELITORO takes privacy seriously:
