How Ratings Work

ELITORO uses a rating system to maintain network quality and help members make informed decisions about connections.

The Rating System

Two Types of Ratings

After every meeting, you rate the other person on:

Quality Rating (1-5 stars) How well did the meeting go?

  • Meeting preparation
  • Professional conduct
  • Communication quality
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Overall meeting experience

Value Rating (1-5 stars) How much value did they provide?

  • Relevance of their expertise
  • Helpfulness and insights
  • Potential for collaboration
  • Delivery on their profile promise
  • Overall contribution

How Ratings Are Used

On Profiles

Your average ratings appear in your profile header:

  • Quality: X.X/5
  • Value: X.X/5

These averages are visible to other members.

In Matching

Ratings influence:

  • Connection suggestions
  • How your profile is ranked
  • Member trust and credibility

For Referral Eligibility

To become a referrer, you need:

  • Quality rating ≥ 4.0
  • Value rating ≥ 3.5
  • At least 2 completed meetings

Rating Confidentiality

What's Private

  • Individual ratings are confidential
  • Others see only your average
  • Specific feedback isn't shared
  • Comments are for ELITORO only

What's Visible

  • Your average quality rating
  • Your average value rating
  • Number of ratings received

Impact of Ratings

High Ratings

Benefits of maintaining high ratings:

  • Better connection suggestions
  • More attractive profile
  • Referral program eligibility
  • Network credibility

Low Ratings

Consequences of low ratings:

  • Reduced visibility
  • Fewer suggestions
  • Loss of referral eligibility
  • Potential account review

Rating Philosophy

Be Honest

  • Rate accurately, not generously
  • Your honest feedback helps everyone
  • Inflated ratings hurt the system

Be Fair

  • Consider the full meeting
  • Don't rate based on one moment
  • Think about their overall contribution

Be Constructive

  • Written feedback should be helpful
  • Focus on specifics
  • Consider what could have been better

New Members

If you're new:

  • You won't have ratings yet
  • Profile shows "No ratings yet"
  • Ratings build over time
  • First impressions matter

Maintaining Good Ratings

To maintain high ratings:

  1. Prepare for every meeting
  2. Be punctual and professional
  3. Listen actively and engage
  4. Provide value in conversations
  5. Follow through on commitments
  6. Be authentic to your profile
