Contact Pricing

The Contact Pricing tab lets you set conditions and pricing for connection requests you receive.

Understanding Contact Pricing​

When other members send you connection requests, you can charge a fee for your time. This ensures:

  • Your time is valued appropriately
  • Connections are serious and committed
  • You control who can reach you

Do Not Disturb Conditions​

Optionally specify situations where you prefer not to be contacted.

Examples​

"Please don't contact me about cryptocurrency projects or MLM opportunities."

"Not interested in early-stage startups at this time."

"Only interested in connections within the sports industry."

This helps filter irrelevant requests and saves everyone's time.

Contact Price​

Set your fee for accepting connection requests.

Setting Your Price​

  1. Enter an amount in EUR
  2. This is what requesters pay to connect with you
  3. Can be 0 (free) or any positive amount

Pricing Considerations​

Consider:

  • Your time value
  • Demand for your connections
  • The types of people you want to attract
  • What's reasonable for your industry

What Happens With Your Price​

  • Requesters see your price before sending requests
  • They must agree to pay if you accept
  • Payment is processed if you're selected and meeting is scheduled
  • You receive your portion after platform fees

Free Connections​

Even with a price set, you can accept free requests under certain conditions.

Enabling Free Requests​

If your contact price is greater than 0:

  1. Toggle "Accept free connection requests in specific cases"
  2. Define the conditions in the text field

Example Conditions​

"Free for fellow entrepreneurs in sustainable tech or impact investing."

"Happy to connect for free with people referred by existing matches."

"Free connections for anyone working in sports management."

  • Attract specific types of connections
  • Build relationships with high-potential contacts
  • Show openness while maintaining standards

How Pricing Works​

For You (Receiving Requests)​

  1. Someone sends you a connection request
  2. You see their motivation and profile
  3. You accept or decline
  4. If you accept and they select you, they pay your price
  5. Meeting is scheduled

For Requesters​

  1. They see your price when viewing potential matches
  2. They select you and agree to the price
  3. Payment is processed
  4. Meeting is scheduled with you

Price Visibility​

Your contact price is visible to:

  • Members considering sending you a request
  • ELITORO's matching algorithm
  • The platform for payment processing

Changing Your Price​

You can update your price at any time:

  1. Go to Profile > Contact Pricing tab
  2. Enter a new amount
  3. Save changes

Note: Price changes don't affect pending requests. The price is locked at the time a request is made.

Earnings​

When you receive paid connections:

  • You earn the contact price minus platform fees
  • Earnings appear in your Analytics
  • Payouts are processed according to the payout schedule

Tips​

  • Start reasonably - You can always increase later
  • Be clear about conditions - Ambiguity causes friction
  • Update as needed - Adjust based on demand
  • Consider your goals - Price affects who reaches out
