This guide explains how to make payments on ELITORO for memberships and connections.

Payment Methods

Supported Methods

ELITORO processes payments through Stripe:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Debit cards
  • Some digital wallets
  • Bank transfers (where available)

Payment Security

All payments are:

  • Encrypted and secure
  • Processed by Stripe
  • PCI compliant
  • Protected from fraud

Types of Payments

1. Membership Payment

For direct applicants:

  • Required after application approval
  • One-time €10,000 contribution
  • Enables account creation

2. Connection Payments

When selecting a profile with a contact price:

  • Pay at time of selection
  • Amount equals their contact price
  • Required before meeting is scheduled

Making a Connection Payment

Step 1: Select Profile

  1. View your connection request results
  2. Choose a profile to connect with
  3. Click "Schedule Meeting"

Step 2: View Price

  • The contact price is displayed
  • Review the amount
  • Confirm you want to proceed

Step 3: Payment Page

  1. You're redirected to payment
  2. Enter payment details
  3. Confirm the payment

Step 4: Confirmation

  • Payment is processed
  • Meeting is scheduled
  • Confirmation is displayed

Payment Flow

Select Profile → Review Price → Enter Payment → Confirm → Meeting Scheduled

Failed Payments

If Payment Fails

  • You'll see an error message
  • The meeting is NOT scheduled
  • You can try again
  • Select a different payment method if needed

Common Failure Reasons

  • Insufficient funds
  • Card declined
  • Incorrect details
  • Bank security blocks

Resolving Issues

  1. Check your card details
  2. Ensure sufficient funds
  3. Contact your bank if blocked
  4. Try a different payment method
  5. Contact ELITORO support if issues persist

Payment Receipts

After Payment

You'll receive:

  • On-screen confirmation
  • Email receipt
  • Record in your payment history

Access payment history through:

  • Your account settings
  • Email confirmations
  • Contacting support

Refund Policy

When Refunds May Apply

  • Meeting cancelled by other party
  • Technical issues preventing meeting
  • Other exceptional circumstances

Requesting a Refund
